Brooks is Done

Tampa Bay Buccaneers' eleven time Pro Bowler Derrick Brooks will not be with them next year after thirteen NFL seasons with the Buccaneers.

Brooks played in all sixteen games as a rookie, and was named a starter in his second season, never missing a game from 1996-2008.

“I thought Derrick was a consummate professional... Derrick obviously is one of the greatest Bucs of all time... These decisions are tough to make. … But this is the decision we wanted to make and the direction we wanted to go," said the Bucs new General Manager Mark Dominik.

Brooks was released today along with Warrick Dunn, Joey Galloway, Ike Hilliard, and Cato June.

Biron...What Where You Thinking

On Saturday when the Flyers where playing the Penguins Biron decided to cover up the puck out of the crease. Which would resault in a penalty if he didn't let go of the puck. Well instead of taking the smart penalty he did the dumb thing a dropped the puck where it could be passed from Dupuis to Crosby for an easy goal. That was an hard goal to lose a game on from a dumb play. Especially after coming into the period down two goals and tieing the game. Then going down one again and then tieing the game again. Let's hope Biron doesn't make any more of those plays. Let's see how the Flyers fair against the Capitals tonight.

Sixers What Bad Luck

After the Eagles lucked their way into the playoffs this season. It looked like all Philadelphia teams would make it to at least the playoffs for the first time in awhile. Well the Sixers might be the downfall of that. It's not even cause they are playing bad ball it's cause the numerous times they got beat this season on last second shots. It's a total of 5 this season, counting last nights loss to the Nets. That also takes the sixers into a 4 game losing steak after the All-Star break. That looked so good going into All-Star break with a 4 game winning streak. Hopefully they can turn it around and get to wining some games soon. Let's see how they do tomorrow night against the Wizards.
