- Hurricanes - Have to play four teams fighting for the playoff bubble spot. Only have to play three teams already sitting in playoff position.
- Rangers - Have a tough schedule ahead of them playing five teams on the bubble for playoffs. Four from the East and one from the West. Only have to play three teams in playoff position and all three are from the East.
- Penguins - Only have to play three teams trying to get into the playoffs. Two of the teams from the East and one from the west. Have to play six teams that are already look like their in position for their playoff spot.
- Sabres - Have to play three teams on playoff bubble all from the east. Have to play six teams that look already in their playoff spot.

- Blue Jackets - Have to play two teams fighting for a playoff spot. Have to play four teams in playoff position already.
- Oilers - Only have to play one team fighting for a playoff spot. Have to play five teams already in playoff position.
- Stars - Just have to play two teams fighting for a playoff spot. Only have to play three teams in playoff position.

man...the east is looking VERY competitive right now. it looks like the habs are on the verge of a collapse too...they just fired their head coach with about 16 season games left while theyre still in the playoff hunt...
