This time to a cornerback worth all of the money spent on him, Nnamdi Asomugha. Easily the best player on the Raiders defense for last couple years. He is one of the best cover guys in the league, though Raiders lose a lot he always stops his guy. At 27 he is still in his prime so best idea to sign him for short term like the did at 3 years at 45 million. He is raising the bar for prices of corner's though at a little over 15 million a year for next three years. That's a crazy price for a corner and beat last years highest paid corner by 10 million. I hope Al Davis still has some money to put around this corner stone on defense, after spending 16 million on punter Shane Lechler on Wednesday. Maybe some nice draft picks on for the trenches would be a good idea Raiders. Let's see how this big deal for a corner works out seeing as there last big deal with a corner didn't pan out to well.
