Rafer Alston is the missing part for the Magic's season. With there all-star point guard out for the rest of the season, Alston gives the Magic a good point guard to help them reach the playoffs and advance in the playoffs. In this deal the Rockets also got Kyle Lowry from Memphis and Brian Cook from the Magic. Memphis also received Adonal Foyle, Mike Wilks, and Magic's first round pick. This probably means the Rockets gave up any hope of the season with T-Mac out hurt(again). To trade away a very big part of their team in Alston. Alston make take some time to adjust to the Magic, but now with the Magic once again back to having a good point guard they are once again contenders in the East.
